1. DARA BIOSCIENCES INC. in Raleigh, North Carolina licensed the rights to
market the drug Oravig (miconozole) in the United States. Oravig, licensed by
Onxeo in France, is used to treat oral candidiasis.
2. POLYDENTIA SA in Switzerland commercialized MyClip, a new combination
between forceps and a sectional matrix ring.
3. CARECREDIT in Costa Mesa, California introduced a digital version of its payment
card used to finance dental and medical procedures. This allows cardholders to
use their mobile devices to make payments.
4. DENTOVATIONS INC. in Boston, Massachusetts released the Smile Illuminator Instant Whitening Kit, a new at-home tooth whitening system. The product is available at drugstores and other over-the-counter retailers throughout the US & Canada.
5. HU-FRIEDY MANUFACTURING COMPANY LLC in Chicago, Illinois began marketing new disposable prophy angles that are available in soft and firm options.
6. OSSTELL AB in Sweden commercialized the Osstell IDx osseointegration and implant stability monitoring system in the US and some European markets.
