1. The United States Congress has voted to suspend the medical device excise tax on dental products. This tax on sales was originally imposed by the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).
2. The Oral B Test Drive program features a unique sanitization process that has been cleared by the FDA and it allows your patients to experience an Oral B power brush before they purchase it.
3. SIRONA DENTAL SYSTEMS INC. in Long Island City, New York announced a new partnership with 1-800-Dentist new patient lead generating service. This new program will support the existing 15,000+ dental practices in the US that provide CEREC services to their patients. A national consumer advertising program, including television commercials, will begin this month.
4. How many Aspen Dental offices are in the state of Florida? They just opened number 53 in Inverness, Florida.
5. ORASCOPTIC, Middleton, Wisconsin-based member of the KaVo Kerr Group, introduced a new cordless headlight named Spark. This light source may be integrated with most loupes and glasses frames.
