Water. It’s an expected part of every dental office visit. Yet, surveys show that up to two-thirds of dental offices are not shocking their dental water lines regularly.
And of those that do, up to 80% are not doing it correctly!
This year the CDC & OSHA updated regulations for keeping waterlines cleaned in the new Standard of Dental Practice Infection Control Protocols. This 44-page document reviews 20+ protocols that needs to be updated & implemented in every USA dental office. Dental office “water” needs to be tested, treated and shocked into purity! (at least every 30 -90 days---to include proof-of-testing!)
Water testing and purity is now the “Standard of Care” in dentistry.
