Welcome to the dark side. DentalTown now has dark mode, giving the entire site a fresh new look that's easier on the eyes when things get a little dim. If your device is set to dark mode, we'll automatically match it. Prefer to make the call yourself? Choose Light, Dark, or System anytime from your profile menu.

Hold onto your loupes. We've spent the past several months under the hood tuning and cleaning up our servers, and the results speak for themselves: pages that once took seconds to respond are now measured in milliseconds. And, that speed boost doesn't stop at our servers. We moved our images and media onto a global content delivery network, so everything loads fast no matter where in the world you're Townie-ing from. You won't see this update, but you're already feeling it!

And... ACTION! Posting a video used to be a multi-step chore - not anymore! We've streamlined and modernized the whole process: upload your video in a single step, right from the editor, and watch a real progress bar follow it from upload all the way through processing. In a hurry? Go ahead and submit your post - your video will finish processing on its own and appear when it's ready. That's a wrap on the hassle.

Our Townie Choice Awards got a makeover worthy of the winners. We rebuilt the entire ballot experience from the ground up: a clean streamlined flow, plus the freedom to step away and pick up right where you left off. Voting has never been easier! And when the winners are crowned, the results got a glow-up too: every winner for the year on one easy to view page, organized into expandable categories with product photos, with full voting breakdowns just one click away. Finding a fellow Townie just got a face-lift with our vastly improved member picker. Whether you're tagging someone in a post, inviting members to a group, or sending a private message, the new member picker now searches all members as you type and shows profile photos to help you find the right person. No more guessing which of the seventeen Mikes you meant to tag.
