Sirona Introduces Track Mounted Light System
Long Island City, NY – July 26, 2007 – Sirona Dental Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: SIRO), one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-technology dental equipment, recently announced the availability of its new SIROLUX F Track Mounted Light System, the latest configuration for its SIROLUX F Operating Light System. Just one of several configurations now available for the SIROLUX F, the new Track Mounted configuration offers the practitioner all the features and benefits of the light system, but with significantly more flexibility for light placement and freedom of movement in the operatory.
Sirona’s SIROLUX F Track Mounted Light is mounted to the operatory ceiling directly above the patient chair and can easily be moved along the track for patient entry and exit, staff movement in the operatory, and for any necessary procedures. This configuration also easily accommodates a left or right-handed practitioner, and provides a clean, uncluttered operatory environment.
Design features of Sirona’s SIROLUX F Operating Light, in all configurations including the Track Mounted Light System, include motion sensor power activation; color-neutral illumination; push-button removable (autoclavable) handles and tension controlled rotation for accurate positioning without drifting; built-in cooling fan for heat regulation; dual intensity settings; and, a balanced horizontal light pattern. In addition, the light system features seamless surfaces that are resistant to cross-contamination, for optimal infection control.
