One special development illustrating Hu-Friedy’s support of the dental hygiene community takes form in the new ADHA Master Clinician Award sponsored by Hu-Friedy. The award is presented to the dental hygienist who demonstrates outstanding clinical expertise in relating the interdependence of clinical practice and patient education for the improvement of patient compliance. This is the first year the award has been issued. There are several criteria a candidate must meet, including 10 years in clinical practice and current member of the ADHA.

Hu-Friedy and the ADHA are proud to congratulate the 2008 ADHA Master Clinician Award recipient:

Diane Brucato – Thomas, RDH

Diane was presented with a commemorative Award and $5000 at the ADHA Annual Awards luncheon held during the Annual Session. Diane was touched and delighted to receive the first ADHA Master clinical award after being nominated by a colleague.
