NEW TIP TAKE’S AURORA LIGHT DEEP INTO SMALL MOUTHS
Parkell recently introduced the new Access Tip for its Aurora curing light.  According to Parkell, the Aurora generates a very large, very bright curing spot intended primarily for anterior use and sealants.  However, its relatively large curing head can pose access problems in the posterior of a small mouth.
The new Access Tip is a three-inch contra-angled light-pipe that replaces the light’s standard curing lens.  It rotates 360-degrees to allow access to virtually any surface in even the smallest mouth.  The fiber-optics concentrate the light, so brightness at the posterior surface is even greater than immediately at the face of the curing light.
The light-guide is autoclavable and reportedly attaches and removes from the light in a matter of seconds.
According to Parkell, the Aurora rechargeable curing light costs $399 and comes with a 3-month trial and 2-year warranty.  The optional Access tip normally costs $129, but when ordered along with the light is just $99.
