Job Summary
We're working with a private office in Seattle and a private office in Bellevue, who are both seeking a part time dentist.
The Seattle office is seeking a dentist to work either Mondays & Fridays or Thursdays & Fridays.
The Bellevue office is seeking a dentist to work Tuesdays & Wednesdays.
The ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience OR a residency completed. They would be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong commitment to patient education, preventive care, and the ability to perform various dental procedures.
These are very reputable offices with state of the art equipment and a great team of hygienists, assistants and front desk. The dentists can offer wonderful mentoring as well.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including but not limited to root canal therapy, oral surgery, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize medical imaging technologies to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care.
- Stay current with advancements in dental techniques and technologies through continuous education.
Experience
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- 2 years of experience OR a residency completed
- Proven experience in performing various dental procedures, including root canal therapy and oral surgery.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Epic is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- A commitment to providing compassionate care while adhering to ethical standards in dentistry.
