MICHAEL MINAILO NAMED PRESIDENT and CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
AT
MILLENNIUM DENTAL TECHNOLOGIES INC.

(CERRITOS, CALIF. Sept, 27, 2007) Millennium Dental Technologies (MDT), a manufacturer of dental laser devices for the treatment of periodontal disease, announced the appointment of Michael Minailo as President and Chief Executive Officer. Minailo brings over twenty years of experience in the medical device industry.

With recent roles as COO and CEO in growing multi-million dollar ventures, and within globally recognized device companies that have brought new technologies and new standards of care to the worldwide market, his experience will help MDT drive its vision of establishing LANAP® (Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure) as a new standard of care for the treatment of periodontal disease.

Robert H. Gregg, DDS, Co-Founder and now Chairman of the Board, said, “The addition of Michael Minailo to our company is an exciting development in the company's transition from an emerging growth company to a worldwide operating entity.”

Minailo has held executive roles within large national and multi-national medical device companies, such as Edwards Life Sciences, St. Jude Medical, and Bergen Brunswig, as well as early stage/IPO device companies, like Cardio-Thoracic Systems (CTS).; a leader and pioneer in the development of devices and practices for performing minimally invasive beating heart surgery. While at CTS, Minailo helped to grow not only sales, but worldwide penetration and acceptance of this ground breaking surgical procedure and new standard of care for treating coronary disease. This unique blend of medical device experience and leadership of rapidly growing companies has positioned Minailo to lead the growth of Millennium Dental and to facilitate the vision of its founders Dr. Robert Gregg and Dr. Delwin McCarthy.

Minailo holds a BS in Business Administration and Marketing from San Diego State University and an MBA from the University of Southern California. Subsequently, Minailo also served as an adjunct faculty member for the University of Southern California's School of Business, where he taught Organizational Behavior.

“I am extremely honored and excited that the founders and the board of Millennium Dental Technologies have placed their faith and in many respects; dreams with me. I truly believe in the LANAP® technology for the treatment of periodontal disease and in the ability of our company to support this new standard of care globally, both through our patented, unique and comprehensive training sessions and protocol and our FDA approved PerioLase® device for delivery of the treatment,” Minailo said.

Millennium Dental Technologies has grown over 50% yearly over the past three years to its current revenue base of over $10M annually and more importantly its estimated treatment of over 14,000 patients yearly with periodontal disease. Its unique market focus and FDA approved and patented procedure, position the company for significant continued growth.

This has dictated the need to establish a strong executive team to not only manage its growth but to continue to meet the expectations of its domestic market place and soon to be, global market; as the company readies itself for its entrance into international markets.

As such, the company has solidified its key scientific and technological positions, with the appointment of Millennium's two founders; Dr. Robert Gregg, to the role of Chief Dental Officer, and Dr. Delwin McCarthy, to the role of Chief Technology Officer.

In addition, Mark Monaghan, who previously as a consultant to the company held the position of interim CEO for the last three years, will now assume the role as Advisor to the Board and VP, Sales.

Patrick McCormick, who had not been previously announced, but whose role has greatly benefited the company over the past three years, will continue in the role as CFO. Rounding out the executive team as VP of Business Development is Thomas Haney, a 25 year veteran of lasers for medical/dental applications, who will be tasked with MDT's growth into international markets.

Company Profile:
Fifty people out of 100 have moderate to severe gum disease, 40 out of the 50 don't know it, and only 3 people out of 100 will ever get treated before it's too late to save their teeth or reverse associated medical conditions.

Gum disease is a silent, painless, chronic, communicable, bacterial infection that often goes undetected or ignored until severe gum and bone destruction catch the individual's attention. Traditional treatments for gum disease have, until Laser-ANAP, been perceived as painful with a long and uncomfortable recovery, scaring patients away and causing the epidemic numbers suffering with this preventable and now attractively treatable disease.
Millennium Dental Technologies is a privately held manufacturing company that produces the PerioLase® MVP-7 ™ a dental laser attachment for use in the company's FDA cleared and patented gum disease treatment protocol, called LANAP®, which replaces scalpel and suture surgery for the treatment of moderate to severe gum disease.
