Arizona Dental Association Selects New Executive Director
New leader looks to help address oral health care issues in Arizona

Scottsdale, Ariz. – The Arizona Dental Association, the state’s oral health leader, selected Kevin B. Earle of Phoenix to lead the organization.

Established in 1909, the Arizona Dental Association is a nonprofit professional organization representing over 2,500 dentists statewide and is a constituent society of the American Dental Association (ADA).  The Arizona Dental Association’s goal is to encourage improvements in public oral health and promotes the art and science of dentistry through leadership, education and information.

“Kevin Earle’s experience in the regulatory and government relations field, combined with his educational background and long history of working and collaborating with professional and trade associations makes him an ideal fit for to lead the Arizona Dental Association during its centennial year,” said Dr. Regina Cobb, board president.

Prior to joining the association, Earle served as the executive director of the Arizona Board of Dental Examiners for the past year and a half.  There, he worked closely with the Arizona Dental Association and other stakeholders to successfully pass a major legislative initiative to improve consumer protection.  In addition, he has been at the forefront on issues involving legislative sweeps of regulatory board funds.  Prior to coming to Arizona, Earle had 16 years of experience as executive director with several professional regulatory boards in the New Jersey State Division of Consumer Affairs, including the Board Real Estate Appraisers, Board of Medical Examiners, Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Board of Dentistry. Before joining the state of New Jersey in 1991, Mr. Earle was a homebuilder and served in leadership positions with the component, local, and state affiliates of the National Association of Home Builders.

“I’m looking forward to working on oral health care issues in Arizona,” said Earle.  “Our member dentists care about bringing oral health to all Arizonans. Together we will be working towards creative initiatives to promote oral disease prevention, improve access to quality dental care, in addition to addressing issues that affect the dental profession in this state.”

Earle was born and raised in northern New Jersey. He received his bachelor’s degree in public affairs from George Washington University and a Master of Business Administration from Rutgers University.  He also holds a Master of Public Health with a concentration in health policy from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University. When he is not taking care of AzDA business, he likes gardening, traveling, cooking, entertaining and enjoying the Arizona sunshine.
