SmartPractice Donates Infection Control & Clinical Supplies to Organizations Active in Haitian Earthquake Relief.
Phoenix, AZ 2.4.10 SmartPractice responds to the global need for medical, dental and infection control supplies by partnering with organizations that act as first responders in times of crisis. Two of our partners, MAP International and Project C.U.R.E. are currently providing aid to the people of Haiti in the aftermath of last month’s devastating earthquake. Our contributions to the these organizations include:
o MAP International -- $31K in Gloves in direct response to January’s earthquake
o Project C.U.R.E. -- $131K in Clinical Supplies and $20K gloves in 2009
These donations will help practitioners perform lifesaving procedures more safely and effectively, while protecting themselves and those they are treating from potentially life-threatening infections.
We will be making additional supply and glove donations to these and other organizations throughout 2010 and ask that you join us in our efforts by making a monetary donation through the aid organization of your choice.
