Septodont Supports NCOHF Programs for At-Risk Children

(Charlotte, NC? November 24, 2010) Septodont recently donated over $10,000 in dental products to support Affiliate oral health programs of National Children’s Oral Health Foundation: America’s Toothfairy? (NCOHF).

NCOHF supports a national Affiliate network of community-based, nonprofit pediatric oral health programs providing comprehensive care to America’s most underserved children. Four NCOHF Affiliates – Wilkes Public Health Dental Clinic, Central Community College, Indiana University School of Dentistry, and Community Health Centers of Arkansas, Arkansas Primary Care Association – received a generous donation of Octocaine 50 anesthetic and needles that will help provide critical oral health services for children in need.

Kent Chiu, President of Septodont said, “It is an honor for Septodont to partner with NCOHF on such an important program for underserved children in America and we are very happy to be able to give back to the community that has trusted us for so many years.”

“Millions of children in our country are unable to enjoy this special time of year because they suffer in silence from untreated dental caries,” said Fern Ingber, NCOHF president and CEO. “Septodont’s dedicated commitment to our mission will help ensure more underserved children can eat, sleep and enjoy the holidays free from the preventable pain of pediatric dental disease.”
