O’Hehir University is an international, online educational institution for hygienists holding a certificate or associates degree who want to complete a Bachelor of Science Degree in Oral Health.
The aim of O’Hehir University is to recognize the academic and clinical accomplishments of licensed or registered dental hygienists by providing a path to degree completion that enhances their success as clinicians. O’Hehir University is not a traditional teaching institution but rather a university founded on reflective and inquiry learning. The curriculum follows a self-directed, projected-based path to degree completion taking six months with tuition of $1,250.00.
O’Hehir University is designed for the dental hygienist developing his or her career focused on prevention of dental disease. Following ADHA’s commitment to establishing a bachelor degree entry level for dental hygienists, O’Hehir University is founded on the concept that all dental hygienists should have the opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree that enhances their position as the Oral Health Specialist.
