While you're planning your trip to San Francisco for the ADA Annual Session, please make time to attend the Give Kids A Smile 10th Anniversary Gala. This new event will be held on Monday, Oct. 22 at the Marriott Marquis.
The GKAS 10th Anniversary Gala will combine the traditional ADA Presidential Gala with the Give Kids A Smile (GKAS) Gala to create a light-hearted evening that serves a dual purpose—honoring ADA leadership while raising funds for Give Kids A Smile. You'll enjoy fine dining, good friends, dancing and the satisfaction of supporting a great cause.
Give Kids A Smile is one of the ADA's most important outreach programs. It demonstrates our commitment to education, treatment, and access to care for vulnerable children. Many thousands of volunteers have made it possible to help more than one million kids since its inception. Throughout 2012, an estimated 40,000 volunteers—dentists and their teams—are expected to provide oral health services to more than 400,000 children at nearly 1,600 sites nationwide. By attending the GKAS Gala, you will show your support for GKAS efforts, providing additional funds for its continued expansion.
The ticket price of $250 includes $150 for the event itself (approximately what the President's Gala cost last year) and $100 as a tax-deductible charitable donation to the ADA Foundation for future support of the GKAS program.
